Pastor Jason Brinker

Senior Pastor

Contact Jason: jason@fbcjax.net

Jason is a man who loves people and relates well to all generations. He is very enthusiastic and confident in his calling to preach the Gospel and win people to Christ. His philosophy is very simple: you love people into a relationship of knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

Jason has had the unique experiences of pastoring a traditional Southern Baptist church in Kentucky for eight years and also planting a new church in the Seattle area. During that six-year mission process, he gained both insight and experience in what works to reach the unchurched and lost people of the community.

Jason was called to be the pastor of FBCJAX in November of '08. Since that time, he has inspired FBC to reach out to the community and be a "missional church" that loves people into a growing relationship with Christ.

Jason is a graduate of Mid-Continent Bible University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Angela and they have two children, Graham & Daxton.

Want to know more? Jason was recently featured in an article by the North Carolina Baptist State Convention called, "Between Seattle and Jacksonville: Jason Brinker's Journey to America's Youngest City."
